The light fixture is beautiful and very well made. However, I had not realized how hot the halogen bulbs would burn! The heat from one fixture was intense and I had planned on using two. Be sure to determine the impact of 300 watts of halogen heat before deciding to install this in a normal sized bathroom. It would help to have recommended minimum room size in square feet as part of the item description.

I bought a single unit, which worked so well i bought 2 more singles & a triple. I've installed all 4 units & i'm waiting for a backorder 5-unit. I wanted simple,sleek, low-profile & modern. The amount of lighting is good in 3 small halways & 2 small bathrooms. we are happy with the look, lighting & ease of installation.

Is there a lower watt halogen bulb that can be used? A:The maximum wattage this fixture takes is 100 watt halogen. Therefore you can use any wattage lower than that just not exceed 100w per bulb.
