I purchased six of these to coordinate with my kitchen pendants, which also had thick glass. It was not easy to find a sconce that was inexpensive enough for us to purchase six without some hesitation. After these were installed, the ultra modern look struck me as a little strange, but everyone that has come to our house has commented on how much they like the sconces.

The product was far nicer and better made than I had expected. This is a very contemporary look, I ordered them for my son's bedroom as over-the-bed reading lights but they would look great in a family room or contemporary kitchen.
